Privacy policy

In plain language, not legal-speak. Last updated 11 October 2026.

Who runs this site

iNewittAll is a UK sole-trader business. In this policy, "I" and "iNewittAll" mean the same thing. If you have a question about your information, email inewittall@gmail.com.

The short version

Who this site is for

iNewittAll is made for students aged 11–14, and for their parents and teachers. The email sign-up is for parents, teachers and students aged 13 or over. If you're under 13, please ask a parent or carer to sign up for you.

Analytics (only if you say yes)

If you click Accept on the cookie banner, I use Google Analytics to see roughly how many people visit, which pages they read, and which features get used (for example, whether a quiz is finished, a video is played, or a worksheet or shop link is clicked). It sets cookies (called _ga and _ga_ followed by letters and numbers) and sends usage information to Google: which pages you view, which of those features you use, your rough location, and your device and browser type. It doesn't include your name. I've told Google Analytics not to use its advertising features, and Google keeps the data for a limited time.

If you click Decline, or ignore the banner, no analytics script loads and no analytics cookies are set. You can change your mind at any time:

Things that load from Google even if you decline

Pages load their fonts from Google Fonts, and lesson pages show video thumbnail pictures from YouTube. To send those files, Google's servers can see your device's IP address. These don't set analytics or advertising cookies.

Videos and Shorts only load from YouTube when you click play. YouTube may then set its own cookies. See Google's and YouTube's privacy policies for how they use that.

If you sign up for lesson emails

Your email address is stored with MailerLite, my email provider, and used only to send you new lessons and updates. I do this because you asked me to. It's never sold or passed to anyone else, and you can unsubscribe at any time using the link in any email. I keep your address until you unsubscribe. MailerLite's own scripts only load when you click into the sign-up form.

If you email me

The "suggest a topic" and "report a mistake" links open an email to me. I use your address and message only to reply and to fix the problem, and I keep them only as long as I need to.

If you buy a worksheet or resource pack

Purchases are handled by Payhip, or by TES if you buy from my TES shop. I never see or store your card details. They tell me what was bought and the buyer's email so I can help you if something goes wrong, and I keep purchase records for as long as tax law requires.

Things saved on your device

So the site remembers where you got to, your browser's local storage keeps these on your device:

None of this is sent to me or anyone else. It never leaves your device unless you choose to share it: for example by copying a homework result to send to your teacher, or copying a My revision progress code to use on another device. Clearing your browser data removes all of it.

Teachers using Board mode

Board mode and the class quiz pages run in your browser. Any class or student names you type in (for example in the name picker) stay on that device and aren't sent to me.

Affiliate links

Some links on the Recommended Reading page go to Amazon. As an Amazon Associate, iNewittAll may earn a small commission on purchases made through those links — this doesn't change the price you pay. Amazon may set its own cookies when you click through.

Other websites

Links to YouTube, TikTok, Instagram, Facebook, Payhip, TES and Amazon take you to other companies' sites, which have their own privacy policies.

Your rights

You can ask to see the personal information I hold about you, ask me to correct or delete it, or ask me to stop using it. You can also withdraw your permission at any time, using the analytics buttons above or the unsubscribe link in any email. Email inewittall@gmail.com and I'll sort it. If you're not happy with my answer, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.

Changes

If I change this page, I'll update the date at the top.
